Get started with Quuu and Buffer

We want to ensure you get the most from using Quuu, so here’s a quick guide on how to set up Quuu and Buffer.

If you haven’t already, sign up to Quuu here by connecting your Buffer account. Once you’ve logged in to Quuu, you’ll need to enter your email address and select how many posts per day you’d like Quuu to post for you. Once you’ve saved this new info, head on over to the “Categories” page, here you can select up to 5 interests categories that suit you and your audience. You can upgrade to our Amazing plan for more posts and categories if required!

Once you’ve selected your categories, Quuu will post articles within those categories once a day, every morning. They then follow your existing Buffer schedule. (We’ll talk about Buffer in a minute).

Your work here is done!

Now, if you are new to Buffer, there are a few things you can do to optimise your performance. Firstly, click on the “Schedule” tab. Here, depending on how many posts you plan on sharing each day, you can set up a time for each post to go out. That way, your posts are spread out throughout the day as opposed to all at once. Quuu posts will fall in line with your schedule so it’s the perfect companion alongside your own.

Here’s mine:

Buffer’s Schedule Page

Next thing to try is Buffer’s Optimal Timing Tool, which is also available at the bottom of the schedule page. Here, Buffer automatically calculates the best times to post for you.

Just select an account then the number of posts you’d like to send each day and hit “Calculate times”.  You’ll then be given a nice chart with the best times to share both the Quuu posts and your own.

Now that you’re all set, after a week or so of using Quuu, you should see some positive growth on your social accounts.

Remember, Quuu posts are here to enhance your existing social networking, so make sure you always converse and post your own voice as well.

  1. Hey Daniel,

Just investigating Quuu for the first time. Is there any way to moderate the suggestions sent to Buffer before they tweet automatically?

    Thanks,
    Taylor
